IVAW founder speaks at Thomas Merton Center

HoffmanOn Saturday, July 8, the Thomas Merton Center was the setting for a talk by Michael Hoffman, a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and one of the founders of Iraq Veterans Against the War. Originally from outside of Allentown, PA, Michael enlisted in the Marines in 1999. He was stop lossed and his artillery unit deployed to Kuwait in January in preparation for the March 2003 invasion.
